Bosnian Cultural Center in Finland
About us
Our main website is in Bosnian. Here is a brief introduction about us in English:
BKC – Bosnian Cultural Center in Finland was founded in 2002 in the city of Turku. Between 2004 and 2009, the association was inactive, but since 2009 it has operated continuously and actively without interruption. In the Turku region, BKC is recognized as one of the best-organized immigrant associations. Throughout its work, BKC has continuously expanded and developed its activities, focusing on the concrete needs of its members and the wider community. The association also initiates joint meetings with other Bosnian-Herzegovinian organizations in the Turku region to strengthen cooperation, coordinate common activities, and support the Bosnian community in Finland.
Our vision is a stronger, connected, and active Bosnian-Herzegovinian community in Finland that preserves its roots while building its future and integration in a spirit of unity, openness, and mutual respect.
We believe in maintaining the warmth of Bosnian hospitality wherever we live.
Principles of BKC
